This 14th Century Well is found in Beaumont Crescent off Holyhead Road.
It is surrounded by relatively modern buildings and is a reminder of how Coventry once looked.
Coventry historian Rob Orland said: “This is an old well of sandstone structure.
“It was a sort of mini chapel that they revered at the time, because of the importance of water.
“It was probably the source of water for Spon End at one time.
“One of the reasons I like it is that it’s in a very modern area, with modern houses. And there it is all on it’s own, like a medieval gold nugget.”
