WOOOO HOOOOOOO … More than 90 tipples will be on offer at the Coventry Beer Festival this weekend.
Light beers, strong beers, dark beers, drinkable beers, lager beers , white beers and even an orange beer are all ready to be pulled.
Around 2,000 people are expected to attend the Campaign for Real Ale event at Coventry Rugby Club in Butts Road.
The festival has been running in the city every year for more than 20 years.
But this year is set to be extra bright as Nuneaton’s Tunnel Brewery has developed a special orange beer for the occasion.
Brewery spokesman Mike Walsh said: “We’ve done a special festival ale called Clockwork Orange.
“It’s made with orange curacao peel, the same ingredient they use in Blue Bols and Hoegaarden, and we’ve added some subtle coriander and cinnamon making it summery and thirst quenching.”
The festival runs today (Friday) and tomorrow in two sessions – between 12noon and 4pm and between 6pm and 11pm.
Entry is ÂŁ1 morning sessions and ÂŁ2 for evenings. Camra members are free.
