WHICH is the city's finest new building?
Thirteen structures have made the shortlist of the Coventry Design Award’s People’s Choice category.
Now residents are being asked to choose a winner.
Councillor Gary Ridley, cabinet member for city development, said: "It’s great to see that the 2009 Design Awards has produced such a long list of nominations for this hotly contested category.
"This is a great reflection of a city that has so much regeneration going on and still to come. The list highlights that Coventry's buildings are more than just bricks and mortar, many of those listed are inspirational and encourage pride and a sense of community.
"It is a tough list to choose from and I look forward to seeing which building local people choose as their winner."
To help residents decide below are pictures of all the finalists.
They range from the striking new timber and glass timber extension at The Herbert to the bold new Belgrade theatre annex.
Moseley Primary School won Coventry Design Award’s People’s Choice category in 2007.
A panel of expert judges will choose the winners of five other competition categories - accessibility, environmental improvement, public art and lighting and renovation.
To qualify, all entries have to be located within the Coventry boundary and have been completed between October 2007 and September 2009
Winners will be announced at an award ceremony in December.
To cast your vote visit Coventry City Council's website here before November 1.
