What’s not to love about the Town Wall Tavern?
It’s got loads of cosy nooks and crannies where you can get snug with your pint and pals.
It’s hidden away off the high street and always has a good range of ales.
The Donkey Box - a 7x5ft snug which, aside from two bar stools, is standing room only - is reputedly the smallest room with its own servery in Britain.
There's hearty homemade food at lunchtime, including the hefty Town Wall Tower Burger.
There's even a teeny beer garden along the sunny back wall.
Friendly bar staff. Good service. Nicely priced.
What more can we say?
Three cheers for the Town Wall. Long may she live.
