Shopping in the city

Let’s face it - shopping in Coventry could be better.
But if you like chain stores then you won’t be disappointed.
In the city centre you’ll find all the usual shop suspects – Argos, Debenhams, M & S, HMV, Waterstones etc.
At times it seems the place is a sea of Primark bags.
If you want even more chain stores it would be worth looking further afield.
The Gallagher Retail Park, off Stoney Stanton Road, is home to shops TK Maxx, Argos, Matalan, Maplin Electronics and more.
Central Six, opposite the Coventry Railway Station, is a shopping retail park that features Gap, TK Maxx. Mothercare, Gap and more. And the Arena Retail Park, adjacent The Ricoh Arena has a 24-hour Tesco, Pizza Hut, M & S, Borders and more.
Unfortunately there is a dearth of great independent shops.
So here is the It’s all About Coventry guide to some of the best shopping the city has to offer.
