Beauty and the Beast at Warwick
Warwick Arts Centre’s main festive offering comes in the form of Beauty and the Beast.
And judging by the trailer it’s going to be …. a cracker.
Inspired by Jean Cocteau’s La Belle et la Bete and influenced by the worlds of Jaques Tati and Hergé, the production's creators hope to pull off a timeless tale of love, adventure and enchantment.
Like all the best tales it begins on a wild and stormy night when a doting dad sets out on a business trip only to find himself hopelessly lost.
Seeking safety in a strange and remote castle he awakes the next morning in a magical world.
Beauty and the Beast runs from November 29 to January 3.
Tickets cost between ÂŁ12 and ÂŁ14.50.
