With all its concrete it's easy to forget Coventry is a historic city.
And it was once surrounded by a wall 12ft high, 9ft wide and just over two miles long.
The structure took more than 200 years to build with the first stone being laid in the 1350s.
There are a few sections intact and it’s worth finding them using Coventry historian Rob Orland’s excellent map.
In case you haven’t got a spare couple of hours I’ve done it for you - and created a video.
Music is by Coventry’s very own Stylusboy – aka city schoolteacher Steve Jones.
