Pictures released in bid to solve Coventry city centre attacks

COPS in Coventry have released images of three men they want to quiz over city centre assaults.


They would like to speak to two men caught on CCTV (above) following an attack at Jumpin Jaks nightclub in the early hours of Sunday April 12.

A 28-year-old victim was left with a broken jaw after being punched to the floor and kicked in the head at the Croft Road club.

The men are described as white, in their mid-late twenties, one was 6ft and slim with dark hair and the other was 5ft 7ins with short dark hair.

The second set of pictures (below) is of a man police would like to speak to in connection with an assault in Corporation Street on March 25 at 2.30pm.

During the attack a 45-year-old and a 38-year-old man were punched in the head and one was cut on the hand with a knife.

DC Mick Meade from Little Park Street police station said: “Police enquiries into both unconnected assaults have been carried out and now we are releasing the CCTV images in the hope that someone will recognise the offenders and contact us.”
