Cinderella at the Arts Centre

TICKETS for an acclaimed production of Cinderella have gone on sale at Warwick Arts Centre.

But this is not your usual pantomime.

The show harks back to the original fable immortalised by The Brothers Grimm in 1812.

There is no Buttons character, no cheesy pop songs and no transformation of white mice into ponies.

And critics are impressed.

The Guardian says it is "endowed with an inventive magic" while The Times claims it to be “inventive, involving telling of this endlessly rich story”.

Time Out says of the Lyric Hammersmith and Warwick Arts Centre co-production: “"Cinderella is a vastly entertaining, funny, moving, satisfying piece of theatre that will appeal to children and adults alike."

Directed by Melly Still the show runs at Warwick Arts Centre between November 28 and January 3.

Tickets cost between £12.50 and £16.95.
