Don John at Warwick Arts Centre
Seventies seducer Don John to appear at Warwick Arts Centre

Hold on to your hearts ladies – Don John is coming to Warwick Arts Centre.

Produced by the highly regarded Kneehigh Theatre Company, the RSC and the Bristol Old Vic the show is inspired by the Casanova stories.

It follows serial seducer Don John and his insatiable appetite for lovers against the backdrop of Britain’s 1978 Winter of Discontent.

Audiences are invited to delve into not just his world, but also the world of four women desperately looking to escape their normal life.

Northern soul, punk and Mozart influence the score.

The Guardian newspaper have already said of the show: “If theatre were a box of chocolates, then this would be the champagne truffle in a dark chocolate robe.

Don John runs daily at 7.30pm between February 24 and February 28. There are matinees on Thursday February 26 at 2pm and Saturday February 28 at 2.30pm.

Tickets cost between £14.50 and £25.50.
